Acura will develop a "strange" car
The luxury brand company Honda - Acura - is preparing to recharge model line "unusual for a car," which, according to preliminary information, will be on sale next year. It is reported by Car and Driver magazine, citing its own sources.
Detailed information about the new model has not been disclosed. Some experts suggest that the company is preparing to debut Acura electric vehicle that will help luxury brand to join the struggle for buyers for environmentally friendly cars and increase sales. Other experts do not exclude the possibility of the appearance of a sports car, perhaps even ideological successor Supercar Honda NSX. Note that previously, this model is traditionally sold in the U.S. under the brand Acura.
Nevertheless, sources magazine Car and Driver adds that the new front-supercar, Honda, test prototype of which two years ago was captured in the Nürburgring in Germany, it was decided not to market. Initially it was assumed that this is the car will be the successor model of NSX, but the Japanese manufacturer has decided that to begin selling this car, whose value amounted to around 150-175 thousand dollars, during the global economic crisis will not be profitable.
Earlier it was reported that the company Acura in the next year and a half, also intends to release a new flagship sedan, which will replace the current RL. It is expected that the development of this car engineers focus on safety and quality of materials used, and to improve sound insulation. Machine design, as precise Car and Driver, in comparison with the RL of the current generation does not fundamentally change.
The 2010 Acura TSX

The 2010 Acura TSX will also be sold under the Accord Euro label in Australia and New Zealand later on. As far as the standard TSX model is concerned, it will incorporate very few changes in terms of specs and design. Last year, Acura TSX had received a couple of inches increase in its length and 1.3inches in its wheelbase; this year it is not sure as to whether Acura/Honda plans on increasing the dimensions any further.
The current TSX already boasts of being one of the longest cars in the Acura lineup. So, there are good chances that nothing except the wheelbase would change; probably a little increase in overall length may well be on the cards (though there are no indications right now).
As far as the standard features are concerned, there'll be very little change too, though it would be interesting to see how Acura plans on furnishing its wagon; whether all the features will be standard offerings increasing the base price, or only the higher end trims will be costlier, presenting the true capabilities of the TSX. The exact pricing for the wagon model are yet to be officially unveiled by Honda/Acura, and it will be quite interesting to see the response of the customers to the latest offering.
2009 Acura MDX
Overall, the 2009 Acura MDX is a well-balanced midsize luxury SUV with solid sporting credentials. The 2009 Acura MDX not as spacious as seven-passenger crossovers from Ford, GM and Mazda, the three-row MDX does provide more space for passengers and stuff. Even the base model of this car gets loads of standard equipment, including xenon headlights, tri-zone climate control, Bluetooth and satellite radio.

2009 Acura TL AWD Get 6-Speed Manual Gearbox

It looks as though Acura’s trying to reach out to those that actually enjoy driving a car. Starting from next fall, the Japanese automaker will offer a new 6-speed manual gearbox on the 2010 TL SH-AWD model. Aside from the fact that it’s the first time that Acura has ever paired its all-wheel-drive system with a stick-shift, the new close-ratio 6-speed manual is approximately 110 lbs lighter than the Sequential SportShift 5-speed automatic transmission currently offered in the top-spec TL.
Furthermore, the 2010 TL SH-AWD 6MT models also benefit from suspension upgrades that include special coil spring and shock absorber rates tuned for flatter cornering with reduced pitching motions under acceleration and braking. The manual models also employ firmer engine and transmission bushings along with a sportier tuning for the steering wheel system.
According to Acura, the addition of a manual transmission, an all-new clutch system and suspension changes yield an 88 lb. reduction in overall vehicle weight and at the same time, improves weight distribution by 1-percent compared to the automatic model generating a 58/42 ratio versus the 5AT's 59/41 ratio.
